New Top Level Domain Names
Still can't find a domain name you like? We are pleased to present the following top level domains ( gtlds ) which are authoritative from our servers with their intended purposes.
IMPORTANT!:
ORSC TLD's do not operate in the "A" root and as such may not be accessible unless you have installed SetDNS, manually changed your computers DNS settings, or your ISP is pointing at our name servers. Other users will similarly not be able to reach ORSC supported domains if they have not done the same.
In the event ICANN accredits a conflicting TLD, your domain name may no
longer be valid.
Mail services will not function across the Internet either using mail servers which do not resolve the ORSC Root Zone or to a receiving mail server also not recognizing these domains. |
These domains resolve if you or your internet service provider are using the root zone maintained by the Open Root Server Confederation ( ORSC ). If this not the case, neither you nor your visitor's computers will know how to find them.
The rest of us can see them just fine! If your internet service provider is preventing you from seeing the whole internet you can CLICK HERE for instructions on how you can set your own computer to see them.
Our automated registration system is still being beta tested but our Port 43 whois is available at whois.quasar.net. We expect our revised, web-based whois to be live in the next couple of days.
